4. Translate the following sentences into Spanish: *I was going to go to the beach, but it rained. *My sister and I were going to watch a movie but she had to finish her homework. *You two were going to read a magazine but you left it at home.
5. Read page 60 as a class and take notes

Bell work: Bell Work Transparency 2.3
Agenda: 1. Review the homework from the night before.
2. Read notas culturales on pages 52, 61, 69, 74 and write a 2 sentence summary for each one (can be written in English)
3. Share summaries with the class.
4. Begin homework
Homework: Read “Una Noche en Espana” (pgs 78-79) and answer A (1-6) and B(1-6) on page 79

SSS: FL.C.1.3.1 Exchange information with peers and familiar adults orally and in writing about topics of common interest and about the target culture
Bell work: Study silently 5-10 minutes
Agenda: 1. Turn in the homework from the night before.
2. Take the chapter 1 quiz
3. Find a partner and begin working on a dialogue. 10 lines each.
Homework: Practice your dialogue for tomorrow.
