Objective:        Students will be able to describe the ideal friend, express happiness and unhappiness, and use object pronouns.

SSS:                 FL.A.2.3.2 Comprehend and interpret the main ideas and details from television, movies, videos, radio, or live presentations produced in the target language.


Bell work:       How would you describe yourself? Use at least 4 different words.                                            


Agenda:           1. Read pages 64-65 as a class and Expresate on p. 68
                        2. Complete exercises 21 (page 66) and 23 (page 67)
                         3. Read page 70 and take notes

                         4. Watch Grama Vision (Object Pronouns)
                         5. Complete exercises 30 (page 71)
                         6. Begin the homework.


Homework:     Workbook pages 19-22

Objective:        Students will be able to use the subjunctive with the unknown or nonexistent and use the subjunctive of feelings.  

SSS:                 FL.A.2.2.7 Recognize the multiple ways in which an idea may be expressed in the target language and use them appropriately.

Bell work:       Bell work transparency 2.7                                                     


Agenda:           1. Review the homework from the night before.
                         2. Read page 72 as a class and take notes
                        3. Complete exercise 33 (page 72)
                        4. Read page 74 as a class and take notes
                        5. Complete exercise 38 (page 74)
                         6. Write one paragraph (at least 5 sentences) saying what the ideal boyfriend/girlfriend would be like using the subjunctive
                       

         
Homework:     Workbook pages 23-24

Objective:        Students will be able to use the subjunctive.

SSS:                 FL.A.3.4.2 Communicate in writing using a variety of vocabulary for past, present, and future events and feelings about those events.

Bell work:       Bell Work Transparency 2.8

Agenda:           1. Review the homework from the night before.
                        2. Look at the 2 writing topics for the exam along with examples.
                        3. Practice writing one topic (at least 100 words)
                        4. Begin working on the homework

Homework:     Create one storyboard using at least 12 vocabulary words from pages 64-65

Objective:        Students will be able to describe the ideal friend and express happiness and unhappiness.
 
SSS:                 FL.C.1.3.1 Exchange information with peers and familiar adults orally and in writing about topics of common interest and about the target culture   

Bell work:       Turn in your homework on the overhead.       

Agenda:           1. Review the culture questions that will be on the exam tomorrow.
                        2. Pass back the practice essays and go over common errors.
                        3. Complete exercises 2 and 4 (pages 84-85)
                        4. Play Bingo to review the vocabulary


Homework:     Study for the exam tomorrow.

Bell work:       Turn in this week’s class work.      

Agenda:           1. Study silently 5-10 minutes
                        2. Take the exam for Chapter 2  

                               
Homework:     No homework. Enjoy the weekend and bring in the green books on Monday!
